Activities at Manatawny Manor

Activities at a long-term care center are an integral component of the residents’ quality of life and well-being. These activities serve multiple purposes, enhancing both physical and mental health, fostering social connections, and promoting a sense of purpose and fulfillment for the residents. We are proud to offer a well-rounded activities calendars with various social opportunities for folks with different tastes and talents!

Our specific activities include holiday parties, delightful musical performances, staying up-to-date with current events through newspaper readings, singing exercises to uplift spirits, fitness and stretching activities to promote well-being, meaningful religious meetings, and a wide array of entertainment options. Residents can enjoy games, trivia sessions, explore history, participate in gardening activities, and embark on exciting field trips and outings. We also encourage and value volunteer involvement, fostering a sense of community and connection.

We love having local volunteers here at Manatawny Manor. Our volunteers assist us with our activities and they visit one-on-one with our residents. Volunteers can also assist with religious and musical presentations as well as reading to our residents each week. If you are interested in volunteering your time at our facility, contact us today!
